What all Canadian Timber saunas share
- Wood: Grade-A solid Eastern White Cedar, a naturally rot- and insect-resistant softwood.
- Build: single-stave bevels on the barrels (no tenon joints along the length), stainless steel hardware, and T6061 aluminum bands on the Harmony family.
- Delivery: a pre-cut kit on a crate, roughly 1,044–1,526 lb depending on the model. We ship free as curbside freight in the lower 48.
- Warranty: 5-year residential limited warranty from the manufacturer (replacement parts). Heaters carry their own manufacturer warranty.
How to choose
Barrel or pod?
The barrel (Harmony, Serenity, Tranquility, Elation) is the classic outdoor sauna shape: the curved walls leave little unused air above the benches. The Elation adds a solid flat floor and wider 23-inch benches. The MiniPOD packs 4 seats into a raindrop shape with a triple-layer roof of cedar, ice-and-water shield and asphalt shingles. How many people?
Most households choose a 4-person sauna: the Harmony, MiniPOD, Luna or Elation. Compare them side by side on our 4-person outdoor saunas page. If you regularly host friends, the Serenity (5) and Tranquility (6) add length to the same barrel design.
Wood or electric heat?
Every model except the Luna can take a wood-burning stove, which needs no electrical hookup but does need a chimney and firewood. Where will it go?
Every Canadian Timber sauna needs a level base, such as a gravel pad, pavers or a concrete slab. Check the base diagram on each product page and read how sauna delivery works before you order.
